Lashone Business School terms of enrolment
Last updated October 2026
Draft: this page is awaiting legal review and may change.
These terms apply when you enrol on any Lashone Business School programme, whether in person, online or as part of an organisation. Please read them before you register. They do not affect your rights under Nigerian law.
1. Enrolment
Your place is confirmed when we accept your registration in writing and, where a fee applies, receive your payment. We may limit the number of places on a programme and keep a waiting list.
2. Fees
Our programmes are currently free of charge. If we ever introduce a fee for a programme, we will tell you before you enrol, and you would pay only into an official Lashone account listed on our Pay Lashone safely page. No one is allowed to charge you for a free programme: if anyone asks you to pay, please report it to us.
3. Free programmes
Some programmes are offered free of charge. Places on free programmes are limited and may depend on attendance; if you cannot continue, please tell us so your place can go to someone else.
4. Changes, cancellations and refunds
You may cancel before a programme starts and receive a refund of any fee paid, less any non-refundable registration charge we told you about when you enrolled. After a programme starts, you may ask to move to a later intake. If we cancel or postpone a programme, we offer you a place on a later date or a full refund.
5. Attendance and conduct
To complete a programme you need to attend the sessions and complete the practical work. Please treat instructors, fellow students and equipment with respect, and follow safety instructions, particularly in kitchens, workshops and on farms and building sites. We may remove a student whose behaviour puts others at risk.
6. Certificates
Students who complete a programme receive a Lashone Business School certificate of completion. It records the training you completed. It is not a government licence, a professional registration or a university degree.
7. Classes, site and farm visits
Classes are held online; please join on time and keep your microphone muted unless asked to speak. Where a visit to a Lashone estate or farm is organised, you must follow the instructions of our staff on site. For safety, children should not come on site visits unless we have agreed it in advance.
8. Photos and videos
We sometimes photograph or film classes, exhibitions and graduations, and may share them on our website and social media. We will ask for your consent before using your image in our publicity, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
9. Course materials
Course materials are for your own learning. Please do not copy, sell or share them without our written permission.
10. Your personal data
We use your details to manage your enrolment, contact you about your programme and issue your certificate, as explained in our Privacy policy.
11. Complaints and governing law
If something is wrong, contact us at school@lashone.com or +234 903 494 5865 and we will try to put it right quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
