Pay Lashone safely

Draft: reviewed by Lashone's lawyer; some details are still being confirmed against company records and may change.
Property and payment fraud is common. Fraudsters may impersonate Lashone staff or agents and direct customers to pay into accounts they control. Follow these checks before making any payment to a Lashone business.
Our rules
- Pay only into a bank account held in the exact legal name of the Lashone business you are buying from, and only where the account details have been verified through Lashone's official website, your Lashone account or an official contact channel.
- Lashone will never ask you to pay into a staff member's or agent's personal bank account. If anyone does, do not pay until you have independently verified the request with Lashone.
- Obtain and keep an official receipt for every payment. Check that it identifies the relevant Lashone business and the amount paid.
- If anyone asks you to use different account details, change the payment destination, or pay urgently, pause the transaction. Verify the request using contact details obtained independently from Lashone's official website, not solely from the message or person requesting payment.
- For land or homes, inspect the relevant estate and confirm which transaction documents you should receive before paying. If anything is unclear, obtain written clarification from the relevant Lashone business.
Official payment accounts
When you order in your Lashone account, the order shows the bank account of the Lashone business you are paying, with the order reference to use. The verified payment accounts for each Lashone business will also be published here. Until then, do not transfer funds based only on account details sent by an individual: contact Lashone through an official channel to confirm the correct payment process.
Report a suspicious request
If you suspect that someone is impersonating Lashone or has sent you a suspicious payment request, report it through the official contact page or by emailing info@lashone.com. Include relevant messages, phone numbers, account details and other evidence, but do not send passwords, PINs or one-time passcodes.
