Lashone Security terms of service
Last updated October 2026
Draft: this page is awaiting legal review and may change.
These are the general terms on which Lashone Security provides guards, close protection, escorts and related services. Each client signs a service agreement that sets out the exact services, number of personnel, hours, fees and site instructions; where it differs from this page, the agreement applies.
1. Our services
We provide trained, vetted, uniformed and supervised security personnel anywhere in Nigeria, guard dogs with handlers, drone surveillance and lawful private investigations, as agreed in writing. Our personnel are unarmed: private guards in Nigeria may not carry firearms. Where armed protection is needed, it can only come from the police and other lawful authorities.
2. Site assessment and plan
Before we deploy, we assess the site and agree a security plan with you, including posts, patrols, hours and reporting. Changes to the plan are agreed in writing.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give our personnel accurate information about the site, its risks and its routines.
- Provide safe shelter, water, toilet access and lighting at each post.
- Do not ask our personnel to carry out duties outside the agreed plan, or anything unlawful.
- Tell us promptly about any concern with our personnel.
4. Personnel and supervision
We recruit, train, pay and supervise our personnel, and may rotate or replace them to keep the service running. If you are unhappy with a guard, tell us and we will review and, where appropriate, replace them.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are set out in the service agreement and invoiced as agreed. Pay only into Lashone Security's official account, never to a guard or supervisor personally. We may suspend the service if invoices remain unpaid after written notice.
6. Incidents and reporting
Our personnel record and report incidents to you and, where appropriate, to the police. We cooperate fully with lawful investigations.
7. Liability
Security services reduce risk but cannot remove it entirely. We are responsible for the proper performance of the agreed services by our personnel. The limits of our liability, and any insurance we hold, are set out in the service agreement. Nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Ending the service
Either party may end the service with the written notice set out in the agreement, or immediately for a serious breach.
9. Confidentiality and data
We keep your security arrangements, movements and site information confidential, and handle personal data as set out in our Privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
